The author I chose to follow is Sheelah Kolhatkar. I first came across her work when reading a New Yorker article titled “What Will Be Preet Bharara’s Legacy?” As someone interested in law school, this article on the former US Attorney for the Southern District of New York struck my eye. After reading that article, I became interested in her mix of personal opinion (opinions that I tend to agree with) and objective facts. Although she joined the New Yorker just last year, she’s been writing for years. She began as a student at NYU and then attended Stanford. In addition to the New Yorker, she also wrote for Bloomberg. She focuses on tech, politics, and the economy.
